"Mom, mom look here, look at this, see what I made today, don't you just love it? My teacher was so happy to see my art work"...Sounds familiar?

No matter how organized you feel your children's room is, their creativity may crowd up the room.

These works of art are treasured items for your child and while you may think they are junk, your child probably loves them. But what do you do with all the art? Here's a system to help you through it all.

  • Create a portfolio of all the work done by your child. Display it on the centre table or store
  • it in the library.
  • Try stringing a clothesline across your child's room or the playroom and hang art from
  • it.
  • Laminate art at a print shop to use as table mats or bookmarks.
  • Scan your child's art on the computer.
  • With the consent of your child, use it as wrapping paper for birthday parties.
  • Make a few calendars with your child's art work for your family, relatives and friends.
  • Choose a few favorites and frame the wonderful work.
  • You could also use file cabinets and label their work date wise.
  • Designate a large box for your child's work. Have them revisit their creations
  • Put several favorite art pieces on a bulletin board.
  • Favorites can also go up on the fridge door.

Let your child know that their work is important. Using these simple ideas not only helps in sorting out the clutter but also shows your child that you love them and that their work is also valuable.
