When there is a sudden complete blockage of an artery that supplies blood to your heart, a heart attack happens. When the plaque accumulates in the arteries, condition is called atherosclerosis. When the area of plaque occurs and there is a blood clot formation, a heart attack occurs. • Lose weight if you are overweight
• Manage stress
